Star Trek Adventures: Who Wants to Join My Crew?

Yep. I just got my book: STAR TREK ADVENTURES: THESE ARE THE VOYAGES – VOLUME 1. And I am excited to play out these campaigns. These are the Voyages: Volume 1 presents eight ready-to-play missions for Star Trek Adventures. Within this book Gamemasters will find the means to test their Starfleet officers at the front line of Starfleet operations. Create your own Star Trek stories of discovery and adventure on the Final Frontier. This is a 128-page full-color hardback book in print & PDF.

But, I need a crew!

What I want: 3-4 players to take on members of the crew of the U.S.S. Pioneer. Once you see the story, you will have the option to pick anyone except the Captain or First Officer.

Here is the story so far: My crew successfully played the first playtest campaign Decision Point. Take a look at the first adventure here. This is just the draft version final write-up. (Don’t worry. I’m a published writer. It is a good read. I am just finishing up some final details to round out some of the characters.)

How we play: My players are from all over the planet. It is all done online via app and email. We utilize a handy little tool I made to remind crew members how to take actions using the Star Trek Adventures Core Rulebook. (Still a work in progress.) It moves a little slower than tabletop play but allows me to create awesome write-ups. Whoever gets selected for the crew will receive a how-to-play tutorial from me.

2. Pick a character from the mini-novel you would like to play.
3. Email me at michaeldismuke1 at gmail dot com. Let me know what character you are interested in, why you are going to be the best choice to join the crew, and how comfortable you are playing a PBeM game.

This is definitely an experimental form of gameplay. But I think it will spawn something great.
