Shuttle Deckplans by Jonathan Crew

We’ve got a special present for you today, some shuttle deckplans put together by STA fan Jonathan Crew! I’ll let Jon take the introduction from here…

I’ve been watching Star Trek since the mid-70’s and gaming since the early 80’s, running Trek games since I got hold of the Games Workshop edition of FASA’s Star Trek: the Roleplaying Game. Currently, I run two online STA games for friends across the world, set in the 2290s and the 2370s.

While I’m a librarian now, in a previous life I worked for Profantasy Software, and have been using their Campaign Cartographer software to create deckplans and scene maps for my games. I’ve been working on plans for shuttlecraft that can be dropped on to VTT or real table maps to represent the players’ transport in tactical situations. This group are all from the Star Trek: The Next Generation era: Type-5 (the updated Galileo-type seen in Generations), Type-6 (from the later seasons), Type-7 (used earlier in the show) and three versions of the Type-15 shuttlepod with different internal configurations. They’re scaled at 100 pixels per metre.

Whatever the reason, we’re thrilled to have them on the site!
