Welcome to Starship Sunday, presenting a new spaceframe for the Star Trek Adventures roleplaying game, filling in some gaps until official material can be released.
Continuing November’s theme of “Rise of the Federation” is a two-for-one combination of spaceframes. The Intrepid cruiser and the “Warp Delta“ (also known as a Ganges interceptor).
Both ships were briefly seen in the background of episode of Star Trek: Enterprise, serving as part of Starfleet, albeit not venturing out into deep space. These ships also formed the bulk of Earth’s forces during the Earth-Romulan War.
In a campaign centered on the Earth-Romulan War, one of these ships could be crewed by the players, or one or more could be run by the GM as part of an attack wing led by the group’s vessel, offering support in larger engagements with Romulan forces. The players could even each command a small Warp Delta ship and fly as a fighter squadron. Even if the GM doesn’t wish to use these ships as the center of a campaign, they could still be included in a flashback to the aforementioned war or the Xindi attack on Earth.
