Here’s a fun Notable NPC: Amarie. She was seen in the TNG episode, “Unification II“, a memorable four-armed piano player with a salt habit, once married to a smuggler. She has shown up in other media as having taken over Ten-Forward on the Enterprise-E in 2372, and in Star Trek Online where on her retirement she sold the fleet of armed vessels that she inherited from her dead ex-husband.

Perhaps in your game, she could show up in a bar or even be a regular fixture on your ship’s Ten-Forward or equivalent.
