The Zaldan first (and only) on-screen appearance was in TNG 1×19: “Coming of Age“. They are a humanoid species characterized by webbed hands. As a culture, Zaldans are easily infuriated by courtesy, as they view it as a form of phony social behavior designed to cover true feelings.
