Returning to our Featured Starship series, designed so that you can pick up the sheet and start playing right away, here is a Luna-class starship, the U.S.S. Endeavour (NCC-81977). Not the first of its name, this version of the Endeavour is a Science and Survey Operations vessel but outfitted with a Weapons Pod for defense. Because they have a Nebula-class pod, the Luna-class ships have more Talents than usual. It will serve a science-oriented crew well, but doesn’t leave them defenseless to unexpected threats.

In my post-campaign continuity, this is Captain Thomas Kazan’s new ship after the Dominion War, a quiet assignment after the intensity of the Dominion War.

Featured Starship articles spotlight established starships that you can use as a ship for players for immediate play (such as for a demo or convention game), or as an NPC ship in your campaign. Some are a natural fit with characters from the Featured Crew articles. Only Core Rulebook (Federation or Klingon) rules will be used (with perhaps a few special exceptions, such as the spaceframes from the Command Division supplement).
