True story: I woke up this morning (October 6) at about 4AM. I glanced at my phone to check the time and decided to look at my emails—something I normally refrain from doing before 6AM. I nearly jumped out of bed when I saw the surprise that was waiting for me in my inbox—an announcement from Modiphius about the IDW Star Trek Year Five Tie-in Release!
As an avid fan of Star Trek Year Five, I bounded out of bed, bought the PDF, and started to read. And I don’t think I was alone in this. FB chatter was blowing up about it.
Well, Fred Love, after reading through this publication all I can say is, “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”
Now to unleash the famed Revised Tribble Rating System on this tome.
Oh yeah! I have to give much love to this one-of-a-kind, revolutionary supplement from the genius minds at Modiphius. Partnering with comic publisher IDW to translate a great comic into playable fare is scrumptiousness at its height.
There is no need for me to go into details about why I love this so much as the linked blog (above) explains most of what is in it.
The main purpose of this blog piece is to gush and beg Modiphius for more supplements like this. They allow us to play every corner of the Star Trek universe and appeals to every type of fan! A supplement like this spares the GM having to world-build for characters seen in the comic. We can just jump right in and start playing!
