Hello all! With the upcoming release of Star Trek Adventures Second Edition, I wanted to put out what might be one the first missions tailored specifically towards 2E. The mission can be back-ported to 1E, so if you can’t/don’t want to make the switch then you can still enjoy It Laughs at Us. Most of the mechanics are based on what we’ve seen in the STA 2E Quickstart, but they should be fully in line with the full 2E rules.
Anyone who knows me knows I love a good bit of cosmic and psychological horror. My very first mission, Psi Shift, was but a sample of what I have in store for this mission. When Jetfreak-7 first posted their miniature story over on DeviantArt, I knew I had to reach out to try and make it into a full adventure. Any fans of folklore from the Philippines will catch several references and designs of some of the more popular supernatural beings.
