The Aldebaran serpent was one of the forms that Q took on in the TNG episode “Hide and Q” in 2364. Little is actually known about this creature. However, it’s just too cool not to speculate as to its abilities. Based on the beta canon, it seems to be a favourite form for Q’s before humanoids took shape.
