Fun Challenge: You need to create a character that has a Focus representative of each Discipline. Mine would have Starfleet Protocol (COM), Spacewalking (CON), Defense Tactics (SEC), Deflector Systems (ENG), Data Analytics (SCI), and Mass Casualty Events (MED).
I like to pick my focuses first and then design the character’s back story from there sometimes. Like “How did they get all these skills? Are they interrelated, etc?”
I make sure that they have a minimum of 2 in each Discipline to give me a chance to score a double success beyond rolling a 1 in some situations. What would your 6 Focus/Discipline matches be?
(And, yes, I know that the Focuses might apply to other Disciplines sometimes during play. That is even cooler.)
