Roll a D20 to determine which spacewalking complication your character encounters in the sci-fi setting!

  1. Micro-Meteoroid Impact: A micro-meteoroid punctures your spacesuit, causing a slow oxygen leak.
  2. Communications Failure: Your communication system malfunctions, leaving you isolated in space.
  3. Tether Snap: Your safety tether snaps, leaving you adrift in space.
  4. Solar Flare: A sudden solar flare erupts, exposing you to dangerous radiation.
  5. Navigation Error: You become disoriented and lose your way back to the spacecraft or station.
  6. Thruster Failure: One of your thrusters malfunctions, making it difficult to control your movement.
  7. Tool Loss: You accidentally release a critical tool, sending it drifting away into space.
  8. Space Debris Field: You encounter a field of space debris, posing a collision risk.
  9. Helmet Visor Damage: Your helmet visor becomes scratched or fogged, obstructing your vision.
  10. Oxygen Tank Leak: Your oxygen tank develops a leak, reducing your available air supply.
  11. Sudden Darkness: Your spacesuit’s lights fail, leaving you in complete darkness.
  12. Spacewalk Sabotage: Sabotage is discovered on your spacesuit or equipment, endangering your mission.
  13. Space Station Malfunction: The space station or spacecraft experiences a critical malfunction while you’re outside.
  14. Space Sickness: You experience nausea and disorientation, making it difficult to continue the spacewalk.
  15. Astronaut Disorientation: A fellow astronaut becomes disoriented and requires assistance.
  16. Radioactive Contamination: You accidentally come into contact with a radioactive substance.
  17. Space Junk Collision: A piece of space debris collides with you, causing damage to your suit.
  18. Solar Panel Collapse: You inadvertently damage or release a solar panel while spacewalking.
  19. Space Creature Encounter: You encounter a mysterious and potentially hostile space creature.
  20. Emergency Return: A critical emergency forces you to abort the spacewalk and return to the spacecraft or station immediately.
