My Sunday group was eager to check out the 2E quickstart adventure, so we squeezed it into our normal sessions. Note that we’re using our own characters and ship, not the pregens that come in the quickstart. We also didn’t get to the actual adventure until 39:52, so feel free to skip ahead to that.
In truth, the quickstart adventure played the same as my usual sessions, just without challenge dice involved. We agreed the quickstart was set up very well to teach the 2E system to any newbies to the product line, and that the story twist was well done. Experienced groups (like mine) also have ways of skipping ahead in the adventure.
Oh and when we actually remembered Untapped Potential, we liked how simple it was in 2E compared to 1E.
