On the Modiphius message board it was noted that the Trill talent for unjoined Trills required Determination to function, meaning any Trill supporting characters (who never get Determination) would have to be joined. This seemed undesirable given joined Trills were meant to be the minority. I decided we needed a new Trill talent for the unjoined. Rather than just stop there, I decided to do an entire blog of new talents, one for each Core Rulebook species plus a few generics.

FIGHTING CHANCE TO LIVE
When things are at their worst and death seems certain, you can find a way to survive. Once per scene, you can take a Minor Action to regain 2 stress by adding 1 to Threat.
Concentrated phaser fire is sometimes necessary to bring down larger foes. When you take the Ready Task to attack an enemy at the same time as an ally, you can combine your attack for maximum effect. If you both succeed, one of you can add half their Challenge Dice (rounded down) to the other’s pool before they roll.
You are adept and making and modifying technology. When you make an Advantage by creating or modifying an item, it only costs 1 Momentum or generates 1 Threat. However, the device or modifications only functions for a single scene plus an additional scene per Momentum spent (repeatable).

You have quick reflexes. When you take the Ready Task, you can spend 1 Momentum (Immediate) to trigger the Task.
