Lieutenant (j.g.) Aquiel Uhnari was introduced in the TNG episode, “Aquiel“, and made only that one appearance. The Haliians are a telepathic species, although their telepathic powers are limited to empathy. She is a communications officer (Sciences Division) aboard Relay Station 47 in 2369, but due to an attack by a coalescent organism, Aquiel has been reassigned elsewhere. For a brief time, she was romantically involved with Geordi LaForge. She would be a great communications/Science officer to introduce anytime in a TNG/DS9 campaign.
