  1. “Everyone is wrong…even me” is an EXCELLENT value for a character. I like the idea of the Tellarites as — in some ways — more “logical” (rational) than the Vulcans.

    1. In my headcanon, the Tellarites worked out an entire system of formal reasoning that assigns logical values to emotions. The Vulcans really hate that, but they can’t admit it.

  2. The distance between the 61 Cygni stars looks to be highly eccentric (0.48) on an mean 84AU. That’s about 44AU to 124AU distance between the stars with a 659ish years revolution around their barycenter.

  3. Yeah, I knew I got it wrong as soon as I said it. It’s still a fairly close binary star system! I should have had its info all written down, but was going from memory.

    1. What’s the internet without some random guy coming along and saying “akshuley…”?

I’d been interested in seeing more on your take on the Tellarites. I’ve only just added one into our campaign. We’ve leaned heavily into the Andorians. I had played a few times with S. John Ross right about the time “Among the Clans” came out, and loved the moving antennae Andorians of Enterprise.
