Welcome to Starship Sunday, presenting a new spaceframe for the Star Trek Adventures roleplaying game, filling in some gaps until official material can be released.
For June, I’m doing the ships of Federation members that are not Starfleet Vessels. This week is the Andorian Charal, the battle cruiser of the 22nd Century Seen in several episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise, I’m using the STO name given for the class, based on the ship commanded by Commander Thy’lek Shran of the Andorian Imperial Guard.
Like last week’s Vulcan battlecruiser, the Kumari can be used in a Rise of the Federation game, both before and after the founding of that alliance, as well as during an Earth-Romulan War story. While used by the Imperial Guard, several of these ships were donated to the newly founded Federation Starfleet following its founding, and could be crewed by a mixture of Humans, Andorians, and even Vulcans. It’d be interesting to play a mixed crew on such a vessel.
Note: As mentioned last week, several ships this month could be used in a campaign set prior to the founding of the Federation. As such, I’m setting their System numbers low, as these ships can undergo refits normally. And it would be easy to modify them for use in campaigns set in the default era (although, the limit on the number of refits a ship can receive might need to be ignored in this instance).

Ah, the Kumari. Nice to have this ship in the system now.
Looking forward to the next ship.
Why is it +2 Science? Wouldn’t +2 Security be more suitable for a battle cruiser?
Oops. That is indeed an error and you are correct, that should be security. I’ll fix that shortly.
