Hey folks! I’m Derrick, aka Grognard Piper. I first got into Star Trek back in the early 90s while visiting some family. My cousin had a library in his room with what seemed like every Star Trek novel. He also had the TNG technical manual. That was it. I was hooked!

I’ve owned (and still own) every Star Trek RPG that has existed: FASA, LUG, Decipher, and now Modiphius. Unfortunately, I never got to run those earlier versions. Modiphius was different.

I ran a small STA campaign with my home group that didn’t last. However, a friend of mine, Professor Bill of Comic Book University, convinced me to start a campaign online. So I did.

We’ve decided to post these unedited. There’s no Mercer business going on here. This will have the feel as if you were just at a gaming table. We do tend to veer off course sometimes, but we do get back to the game. Sit back, enjoy, and laugh along with us!

It should also be noted that in this first episode, we used the Captain’s Log rules, but in future episodes, we switch to the 1st Edition STA rule set.
